This is the LAPD bus that took all the people who got arrested to the West LA Police Station. Outside you can see demonstrators who are in the process of being taken into the bus. The bus was almost full at that time, so they had to get a small van to get the rest of the people to jail.

these people are not heros, but ignorant students and uneducated adults. It is very simple to say that war is bad (yes, we know, it's goddamn common sense), but when i asked any of these so called "heros" and protesters what their solution to the war was, they suddenly had nothing to say. Kinda reminds me of Tarzan, peace good, war bad. lol. Also to all the idiots with the no blood for oil posters, the UN just made a resolution, and signed a treaty saying that all the oil would go the iraqi people, so maybe u should follow up on your current events.

i think the thing that is funnier is that the "pro-war" protests can turn out what, 20 people? i was in austin this week and at the rally at the capitol i counted THREE pro-war protestors. you are all just jealous that there is so much positive energy resounding throughout our voices and that we have the courage to make our voices heard! let's give it up for imperialism!
the same people making the comments against the protestors are the same people who were crying crying crying about 9-11. why don't we learn from 9-11? bush BLEW the international support we had from the international community...
we are demanding saddam hussein to go by international will and law, yet when we don't get our way we completely bypass the UN and do it anyway. who is the aggressor here? aren't we guilty of what we are "fighting"?
fuck you. ignorance is only blissful for so long.

There is a solution to war, and the truth is we all know it. The only thing that will stop this war and all the bullshit in this world is liberation of the mind. No one should be told that there are no other options. People, educate yourselves, read books, create art, stop being slaves to your jobs, obligations and money. Everyone is capable of being her/his own leader and rise up to the level where greed, patriotism and revenge have no power over the mind. Burst your fucking bubble and stop confusing comfort with freedom.

I am in support for the war (one of the few) I have seen the terrible things The Iragi Gov't has done to their people. If the US and its allys were not to intervene, Sadam would continue his assault against his people and eventually against the rest of the world. All you people who burn AMERICAN flags in protest, first find out what your protesting. Most of the Anti-war demonstrators are so ignorent. They have no Idea what they are protesting, they just want to be part of the crowd and that sickens me, we need to stand by our president no matter what his decision, thats what makes AMERICA great!

Dear Steve Edward, I bet you were one of the Patriotic Americans that supported the Regan Bush administration when they were supporting Iraq. If you remember in 1987 Iraq fired on the USS Stark and killed 37 servicemen and women, and i bet you stood behind Regan and Bush and had nothing to say about it. What makes me sick is every time Bush tells the American people that Saddam used chemical weapons on his own people he doesn't tell the public that his father Daddy Bush, and Donald Rumsfeld had nothing to say about it because he was are man in the middle east, which we helped supply with strains of anthrax and other weapons. Talking about educating yourself here is a good site for all the Bush lovers. http://users.adelphia.net/~sbrown01/browns2/bush.html
