Thousands march in LA dispite downpour.
p3145907.jpg, image/jpeg, 650x519
We marched to protest the the impending invasion of Iraq, we marched to stop the Chenney/ Bush scheme to grab Iraq's oilfields for the benefit of their oilmen friends, we marched in the rain to stop the absurd idea of being the aggressor/bully power of the world. We marched in the pouring rain because we hate the needless death of our young soldiers, the needless death and suffering of Iraq's people, and the needless upheaval of our society. We marched in the damm rain to put a halt to this illigimate administration who think profit before liberty, false security over our civil liberties, extremist right facist views over reason and compassion.

This is woman's message is RIGHT ON! Let's see to it that (a) we retain the right to vote in 2004 (and have ALL our votes counted accurately in EVERY state) and (b) that we throw this junta and their supporters at every level of government OUT on their collective ears and replace them with-- US!!!!!! (Think about that really means and entails. I am.)
(Lord, it was wet-- but WORTH IT to walk with such beautiful people FOR other beautiful people! Always.)
Stay strong and active. Peace and solidarity.

I was referring to the "Bush is a loser" sign held by the woman in the tan jacket-- with the understanding that "I am a friend of George W. Bush's soul and therefore an enemy of his policies and his current political office and powers" (we US citizens are responsible for this idiot/global danger). Long term, non-violent, sober healing time with the wife, daughters and especially animals on the ranch in Crawford, Texas is called for immediately. Let us imagine and then work hard to make real as soon as heavenly possible (a) George W. Bush departing the White House in a US Marine helicopter upon resigning his office in 2003, (b) growing his hair long like Lyndon Baynes Johnson in LBJ's long, secluded Texas retirement, and (c) we the people-- ALL the people-- reclaiming the United States government and rebuilding it as true peace government. Let us consider the immediate impeachment of Bush and Cheney et al as an apology, a US soul purification, and a first reparations installment to those we have harmed without and within our borders. Let George W. Bush's illegal presidency be replaced non-violently with something infinitely wiser. Set wisdom wild in the US and all the world! --------------------------- P.S. If you haven't heard this wonderful ally yet, please check out Caroline Casey visionary activist on KPFA Pacifica Berkeley every Thursday and on the web.
