Who pulls the strings in US foreign policy< what are their goals and who pays the price.
The official story on Iraq has never made sense. The connection that the Bush administration has tried to draw between Iraq and al-Qaida has always seemed contrived and artificial. In fact, it was hard to believe that smart people in the Bush administration would start a major war based on such flimsy evidence. The pieces just didn't fit. Something else had to be going on; something was missing. Turns out this really has nothing to do with terrorism or weapons of mass destruction, though they have made a very good pretext for an already premeditated act. Our current situation is really the cooked up scheme of a tightly knit ultra right-wing group of extremists known as the Project for the New American Century. The group envisions a new American Empire known as Pax Americana. Naturally, the group has recently toned down the context of their rhetoric, mainly due to the current high political profile of many of it's key members, however early policy and literature from the organization was ripe with fascism and fundamentalism that would make even Hitler look like an alter boy. However, the group fancies themselves as more of a modern day Caesar than another Hitler. According to the organization " As America sits as a colossus astride the world it must seize the opportunity (placed at it's feet) to build an American Empire" through outrageous military spending and multiple key military campaigns to establish global dominance. They claim the military can not operate efficiently within the bounds of the constitution, United Nations, International Law, or Human Rights and the US must take an extensive unilateral approach to build it`s empire. The US must lash out at anyone who stands in the way of American corporate or government interests, even if it comes at great social expense and blood of what is called (common) Americans and even if it means anti-american sentiment and loss of allies "Rome did not stoop to containment; it conquered. And so should we",says the group. The problem with the PNAC plan is they have hit a major iceberg, they didn't expect the major dissent of millions around the world never seen before and especially before military action has even occurred. Nor did they expect the dissent of many key allies this early in the game, who happen to be a lot more tuned in to what this is really all about, than the American people themselves who are constantly brainwashed and programmed by right wing and military owned corporate media outlets. There is no doubt how so many Americans have been so easily duped into actually believing the rhetoric and propaganda of terror and WoMD coming out of the White House argues many, considering most of the top brass comes right out of the CIA`s Mind Control school. However, there are growing movements in the US that can see through all this, thus we have seen the stripping of the constitution, loss of civil rights and invasion of privacy in the forms of the Homeland Security, Patriot, proposed Patriot II, and others which really have nothing to do with terror but are really about corporate and government security in a time of discontent, plus let"s not forget the recent Bush baby, No Child Left Behind (military recruitment tool in sheeps clothing) which requires schools and colleges to turn over names, contact info, even grades in some cases of all students to the military or lose federal funding. This is so military recruiters can scope, scan and seek out potential targets for recruitment in the extremely expanded military needed to maintain the new empire. More on the evil plans and mindset of some of the PNAC can be found here: http://www.prisonplanet.com/analysis_louise_010603_pnac.html and http://www.sierratimes.com/gaddy.htm and http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article1665.htm

Gross Injustice:
The Law of Lies
The United States of America presents itself as the freest political entity
on earth. Some of earth's inhabitants were fortunate enough to be born within
the geopolitical borders of the United States and its territories. The rest of its residents
have yanked their roots from another soil, where their bloodlines evolved.
Ultimately,
however, all Americans are
immigrants. The indigenous peoples of the United States were almost entirely liquidated in the largest
genocide this world has yet to witness. Let us not forget this.
The
First Gross Injustice
When
George Bush was selected as president, only five of the votes cast for him were
counted. Regardless of the overwhelming number of facts proving that the 2000
election was fixed, American citizens stood transfixed by the election. They
allowed the first gross injustice perpetrated on them by the Project for the
New American Century to go unchecked. As governor of Texas, George Bush oversaw the execution of fifty
death row inmates. Under the presidency of George W. Bush, a total of
approximately 15,000 world citizens, predominantly Muslim, have been
slaughtered.
The
Second Gross Injustice
The
second gross injustice began on September 11, 2001. The commander in chief of the armed forces
(who skipped out on Vietnam and is still AWOL) sat in an elementary school
in Florida reading a book about a girl and her goat to
school children, while the attacks took place. His response to the events was
twofold. One—ground all commercial passenger flights, except one Saudi jet
which was allowed to fly around the country extracting Bin Laden family
members. Two—bar all investigations into the causal relationships for the
September 11th terrorist attacks.
In
the meantime, the United States would depose the Taliban regime in Afghanistan. It would not agree to allow the construction
of a Turkmenistan-to-Pakistan pipeline, that Unocal, Haliburton, the Carlyle
Group, and Enron all had their hands on. Along with this, the United States
would reestablish Mujahadeen warlords as the preeminent power, would put in a
sideliner to Unocal consultant Hamid Karzei as interim leader, and put in
Zalmay Khalilzad—also a Unocal advisor and member of the Project for the New
American Century—as special envoy to Karzei. More than 4000 civilians died in Afghanistan as a result of the U.S. military incursion. Afghanistan is once again the world’s leading opium
producer/exporter. Unocal won the contract for the pipeline. Osama Bin Laden
was never apprehended. No proof was ever established that Osama Bin Laden was
responsible for the attacks on 911.
The
Third Gross Injustice
The
third gross injustice was the implementation of the Homeland Security Act, the
Patriot Act, the secret Domestic Security Enhancement Act (which has not yet
been ratified, as the opportunity is not ripe), the Model State Emergency
Health Powers Act (coming soon at a state assembly near you), the suspension of
habeas corpus in many suspected-terrorist tribunals, and attempts to revoke the
Posse Comitatus Act by the Department of Homeland Security. These acts, devised
to protect the homeland from terrorists, have thoroughly insulted and upset the
U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights. When the “national mood ring” reaches
code red we must all be on high alert. We will have no civil rights to resort
to.
The
Fourth Gross Injustice
The
fourth gross injustice in the war on terrorism is Operation Iraqi Liquidation—a successful attempt to
illegally invade and occupy a sovereign country against the will of the world
and in violation of the U.S. Constitution, as well as the U.N. Charter, The
Geneva Conventions, the Articles of The Hague Regulations, and The Nuremberg
Convention on Genocide. The massive U.S. armed forces swept through Iraq with virtually no resistance in their
"Shock and Awe" Blitzkrieg. The United States had ensured, through economic sanctions,
weapons inspections, a decade of aerial strikes against Iraqi defense systems,
and U.S. intelligence, that their opponent would be easily defeated. The United States quickly secured Iraq's oil fields, but did little to prevent two
phases of looting, and allowed the destruction of vast cultural and historical
treasures.
More
than 3700 civilians have been slaughtered in the U.S. invasion and occupation of Iraq. Many more will be wounded or killed by
unexploded ordinance mostly from the use of cluster bombs in areas with dense
civilian populations—considered a crime against humanity by many human rights
organizations. One and a half million Iraqis died as a direct result of the
economic sanctions the United States enforced on Iraq between Gulf Wars One and Two (causing the
resignations of two UN Assistant Secretary Generals). Many more Iraqis will die
in the months to come, for lack of potable water, food, and medicine. The Iraqi
people have been shattered by Saddam Hussein and the United States. Saddam Hussein is still at large. No weapons
of mass destruction were located. Over 3700 Iraqi civilians had their souls
liberated from their bodies, and the rest of the population was left in the
hands of the U.S. military occupation, in the dark, without electricity, water or food.
The
Grossest of Injustices
The
grossest of injustices can be found in the Project for the New American
Century's "Rebuilding America's Defenses." In this document,
published just two months before the presidential selection, all of the plans
for American hegemony are spelled out. The plan tells us of the "staging
of multiple theater wars"; the complete control of cyberspace; military
control of outer space and the creation of a military space force; the use of
non-conventional weapons and the amassing of a new nuclear arsenal. What this
all amounts to is the continued destruction and
degradation of the earth’s environment and its natural and cultural diversity.
Perhaps
fortunately, the Bush Administration is mostly comprised of psychopathic
ideologues that have lost touch with the human soul and the sanctity of life;
perhaps they can only get so far before the world will save the American
peoples, in an attempt to save themselves.
While
it is a formidable task to challenge the most powerful regime in history and
curtail the genocide and environmental nightmares that are happening, we can be
assured that the majority of the peoples of this planet want only to live
peacefully and comfortably in the company of family and friends, close to the
land on which they rely.
The
key to change requires the utilization of the mainstream media, the very same
tool the Bush Administration 'owns' through corporate political ties.
Unfortunately, Michael Powell is pushing for deregulating ownership of radio
stations, in addition to the deregulation of TV and telephone-communications
ownership that has already been enacted.
In
light of all of these gross injustices, we must reflect upon the conditions
under which the American Revolution occurred, and ask ourselves what the
necessary actions are, as responsible citizens of the United States and the
World, to take control of the media and the government, so that a true
democracy can be established—in the name of securing a global community.

"...the Bush Administration is mostly comprised of psychopathic ideologues that have lost touch with the human soul and the sanctity of life..."
Hmmm...sounds exactly like the Left, who would gladly have sacrificed thousands more little brown people by keeping Saddam in power.

Ah, the ever-reliably ignorant Systemfailure.
How apropos is that name?
One would suggest the first system that has failed is your ability to reason.
Lots of us argued from the beginning that the goal of the invasion was regime change. The President himself said it a great number of times. He was asked if disarmament was suficient and he said no.
The person on the wrong side of this argument is you. You slouch there and titter about not finding WMD, yet whistle and look the other way as mass grave after mass grave is uncovered. The Iraqi people are free - thanks to the courage of President Bush and Prime Ministers Blair and Howard, and over the protests and ignorance of washed-up has been Leftists such as yourself.
Have a nice day.

The UN called for Saddam to disarm, to provide evidence to the UN inspectors that their WMD's had been destroyed. So, if Saddam had them destroyed, why didn't he come clean? All he had to do was to present the documentation showing where the WMD's had been destroyed and lead the UN inspectors by the hand and show them exactly where it took place and the evidence that it happened, or better yet, have the UN inspectors eyewitness the destruction of all WMD's. He didn't do that. The edict for the UN came down in 1991. Saddam could have told us where they all were and had them destroyed within a year, easily. But the UN inspectors were still there in 1998, seven years later, finding and destroying illegal weapons. Even incompetent Blix told the UN that they weren't receiving full co-operation with the Iraqi government. For someone who had no WMD's, Saddam sure went to a lot of trouble to make everyone believe he did.

Now that the conservatives mighty Gulf war 2 was shown to be a sham, and that they were lied to, they are attempting to grasp at straws of info to prove thier mighty Fuhrer is still God. Most popular comments by neo-cons now are... "The iraqis are liberated now" "It was about a regime change all along" "Why didnt Saddam just show the weapons inspectors the paperwork?"
History will prove you to be fools. Before the War, you neocons were preaching about how dangerous that Saddam regime was and how they were a threat to world peace and how they had WMD and could launch an attack against the US eventually and How the US wouldnt let the UN put america in danger by not enforcing thier own resolutions. Now you fascist brainwashed morons want to change your story. You praise your fuhrer when he introduces laws like the patriot act and cuts taxes for the rich. You neo-cons are traitors to the constitution and history will be your judge.
