The Criminalization of the Peace Movement

Infiltrators, saboteurs, and media coverage are determined to make criminals of ordinary citizens.

The Criminalization ...

Upon reading the SF Indymedia coverage of the F16 march, I am disturbed by the focus on violence that Indybay is promoting. I would urge all gentle readers to realize that 'breakaway marches' these days are often being instigated by Zionist elements, not dedicated peace activists.

It is sad to see so much time and reading space dedicated to a minor aspect of the demonstrations. The overwhelming majority of protestors are peaceful, despite conflicting media reports. Again, I urge all serious activists to beware the traps being set. The momentum within the peace movement has never been greater on a worldwide basis; this is why the opposition forces will stop at NOTHING to prevent us from achieving our goal of global peace.

I personally witnessed the 'breakaway march' in San Francisco on Feb. 16, 2003. It was an event so scripted it could have come from Hollywood. And where were the ever-present SFPD, who seemed everywhere throughout the entire demo that day? Did they not see the group form behind the stage and then, in unison and on the proper sign, begin their march of mediocrity?

A final note: What happened in NY on F15 with the buses driving crazily through the protest also occured in SF on F16, however, it was done with fire engines. Just as the Palestinian contingent was entering the Civic Center (myself in tow!), two fire engines raced down one block, made a left turn DIRECTLY INTO THE CROWD WITHOUT SLOWING DOWN, and then proceeded to screech to a halt in the MIDDLE of the march! That this was done on both coasts indicates complicity of the federal authorities to these acts: local authoritites would not have used the same tactic in two separate cities by coincidence.

This is what we face, People. And it will only get worse before it gets better. Power to the People in the streets!
