I would like to inform you that my son, Mr. Alireza Ghazi Zahedi, is being held in INS Custody for 60 days without any legal bases. He is arrested illegally by the INS officers of San Bernardino, CA without any reasonable reason. Mr. Alireza Ghazi Zahedi is a peace & human rights activist. He has been faithful and great supporter of USA for advancing world peace. It is unfair and injustice for a great and peaceful country like USA to treat its supporters in this way.

SUBJECT: 60TH DAY OF ILLEGAL ARRESTING OF MR. ALI REZA GHAZI ZAHEDI, A PEACE & HUMAN RIGHTS ACTIVIST, IN MIRA LOMA DETENTION CENTER IN LANCASTER,CA BY INS

Dear Sir/Madam.

First of all, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude and our best wishes to you, and your distinguished colleagues in IMC Channel.

We would like to inform you that our son, Mr. Alireza Ghazi Zahedi, had a 1 year B1 visa. He has married to a US Citizen wife before his I-94 and his B1 visa were expired. He has filed I-130, Application for Alien Relative, and I-485, Application for Adjustment of Status, to the INS of San Bernardino, California on September 5, 2002 before his I-94 and his B-1 visa were expired.

He went with good faith to INS office at San Bernardino on November 25,2002 for Special Registration Program. The INS officer Mr. Victor Romenguez after a long interview with our son and his American wife wrote in the back of his I-94 card as follows:
Complied with 2002 Call-in Registration Program.

We have talked to many INS officers in National Customer Service Center and they also informed us that our son's stay is legal in USA. He received a letter from the INS of San Bernardino, CA to have an interview for completion of I-765,Application for Employment Authorization Document, on December 23,2002 at 1:30 P.M.

He went to the INS of San Bernardino ,CA for receiving his work permit on December 23,2002 at 1:30 p.m. . Unfortunately, the INS officers of San Bernardino, CA arrested him illegally without any reasonable reason. They also had a very bad, inhuman behavior and act to an innocent person like him. Then, they sent him to the Jail. He is in jail for 60 days since December 23,2002 without any reasonable reason. He is in Mira Loma Detention Center in Lancaster, CA now.

We would like to mention that Mr. Alireza Ghazi Zahedi is a Peace & Human Rights activist. He is a law-abided person. He has master degree in law (L.L.M). Even, He has never had any traffic violations in his entire life. He has complied with all Immigration rules and regulations. Mr. Alireza Ghazi Zahedi has been faithful and great supporter of the United States of America for advancing world peace. All his correspondence with the White House authorities especially with President George W. Bush prove this matter. President George W Bush appreciated our son, Mr. Alireza Ghazi Zahedi, for his peace-related activities.
We do believe that it is unfair and injustice for a great, and peaceful country like USA to detain a peace & Human Rights activist in INS custody for 60 days since Decembe 23,2002 without any reasonable reason. We never expected from the respectable US Government to treat its supporters in this way . As a result of this detention, my whole family specially his wife are going through very traumatic experience.

We deeply appreciate if you could kindly have an interview with our son, Mr. Alireza Ghazi Zahedi, as soon as possible and publish our article. He is arrested illegally by the INS officers of San Bernardino, California without any legal bases.

We pray to God to keep you, your family and your distinguished colleagues healthy, prosperous and successful. Our hope after the God is the free medias like IMC Channel.

We look forward to hearing from you soon.

May Peace prevail on Earth. God Bless you.

Sincerely,

Prof. Mansour Ghazi Zahedi & Madam
