Instead of chasing after government institutions to change through the corrupt process of the bureaucrats political will to power, we conscientious people of ANY nation must take it upon ourselves to intercede.

We must look to our humanity above and beyond our loyalties to land and flag, and place our only true possession on the line: our bodies, our minds.

Take it upon yourself to talk to anyone and everyone about the current situation, spread the word from your own lips, debate long and loud and full of life, challenge and allow yourself to be challenged, go to where you have few friends and raise your voice to say your piece.

The opposite of war is CREATION--be creative! Cut and paste, rearrange, sample, dub, dance, play hide and seek, make up a new game, play it in the streets--be alive!

Lie down on the runways and keep the warplanes from taking off. Chain yourself to a fence in front of a munitions factory. Buy a plane ticket to Iraq and become a human shield for peace.

There is no need to wait for and try to placate the bureaucratic elite! Don't beg them, we are not beggars but be-ers.

Be the answer to what you seek!

Be open-minded and talk to your neighbors. Get to know the language of diversity, the power of perspective, the realities that other people rise to meet.

We are the people, but for too long now our local communities have atrophied and become weak. It is time for us to get back on our feet and begin the leg-work, the necessary movement from the couch to the front door to the next door to the table, to talk away our fears and come to the common ground.

Communicate!

Act!

Be autonomous!

Be creative!

Be responsible to your actions!

Become what you want THEM to be!

Take it upon yourselves, for nothing else will set you free....
