The day after introducing an anti-war resolution, San Bernardino city council member Susan Lien Longville was threatened with death by a man with a rifle while jogging.
SAN BERNARDINO (Inland Anti-Empire) The price of challenging the rush to war may be a bullet through your head. The San Bernardino Sun reported that a man with a rifle drove up alongside Susan Lien Longville while she was jogging. "Before any of your Iraqi friends are killed, ... (expletive), I am going to kill you," said the gunman, a white man in his 50s before driving away, early on Tuesday morning. The night before, Lien Longville, a member of the San Bernardino city council, had sponsored an anti-war resolution, which was tabled by the city council. A Town Hall meeting on war in Iraq has been called for Friday, February 7, at 5 p.m. in the central library. San Bernardino police are investigating, and urge anyone with information to contact them at (909) 384-5615. The Inland Anti-Empire will continue to follow this story of anti-democratic intimidation.

What, there's a chapter of the Jewish Defense League in San Bernadino? That's news to me.

Could just as easily be a neo-nazi. I've heard they have a few of those out there. Anyone for organizing a protest in S.B.?

The City and County of San Bernardino has been plagued with corruption for years. From trash hauling to billboards for election donations. San Bernardino is a city where you can be arrested if you speak past the 5-minute limit at a council meeting. Look into Jeff Right, a local activist who has been jailed numerous times for speaking up. One important note with the anti-war meeting was that the mayor adjourned the meeting when it was obvious that most of the crowd wanted to speak out about the war. San Bernardino is just another terrorist regime.

I was stationed at Norton AFB watching the a**holes pour Tricloretheline into the drains. Now the town has to percalate their drinking water. It was a city without a single music record store but well stocked with chippies bars and police.

I'd be down to help out with a protest of some sort out here. I don't really know crap about organizing things like that but I have some friends who would be down to flyer for it and do whatever we could, as long as we had someone with some experience behind them guiding us. I've lived in this shithole of a town my whole life. I heard about councilwoman Longville being threatened and to be honest I was really surprised to see anything about it on here. Anyhow, e-mail me at standout909@aol.com for anything.

JDL,..hmmm,.....
Does that stand for Jewish Defense League? I have a question? Since this is a group that advocates defense, does this also mean that they are possess the power to use non-conventional means of defense, just as long as it remains under the umbrella or intention of "defense". For example, is this group permitted to use firearms as a means of "self defense"? If so, how is this group able to function within California state and federal laws in regards to firearm restrictions(e.g. carrying guns on their person). If this is also held to be true, then how come no one is questioning this issue. Strict mandates on firearms have great effects on people of the inner cities. In fact, residence of the inner cities(which include several dissenfranchised groups based on socio-economic group status) are heavily penalized for possesson of such weapons. In the name of universal equity, and in the name of dissenfranchised thousands living in southern California, will some one please address this issue. In fact, will some one offer an intelligent response based on fact, without the usage of name calling typicaly associated with anyone who questions "so-called" Jewish intentions(e.g. resorting to calling people anti-semitic, racist, militant, etc.when all else fails). Thank you.

The JDL is believed to be a contractor for the Mossad. The Mossad, though it engages in illegal activities within the US, is often given free reign by US officials because they fear being assassinated.
