Raise The Fist is an anarchist independent media/direct action network providing an alternative form of radical media, opinion and information. On Jan 24, 2002, 25 heavily armed FBI and Secret Service agents raided the home of Raisethefist.com founder, Sherman Austin, under the new U.S Patriot Act. Since Sept 11, the U.S has intensified it's war against anarchists, activists, and people all over the world. Jan 24, 2003 will mark the 1 year anniversary of FBI / Secret Service raid on Raise the Fist. There will be a demonstration at the same Federal Building where the FBI Agents work, who lead the investigation, and conducted the raid. Join us on Jan 24th, as we sound our message loud and clear.

I support the defense of INNOCENT people... like the Iranian and Arab Americans recently victimized by INS mass arrest in Los Angeles. I support those whose right to free speech is endangered by restrictive and undemocratic laws enacted after 9-11...

... but support "Raise the Fist" for having published instructions on bomb making... NEVER!

"1st Anniversary" indeed... what are you, some type of Rock Star? Take responsibility for your actions and quite trying to make yourself look like a victim of the big bad Police State. Remember the story of the boy who cried "Wolf"?

"black-block-head" is an appropriate title for someone who doesn't understand the meaning of the first amendment, the historical record on publishing controversial information, and the use of the Patriot Act to attack dissent in America.

For the readers information, nearly every library in the US contains books on how to build bombs, including, in some cases, nuclear weapons. This is constitutionally protected speech. The fact that RTF was targeted because of this is absolutely ridiculous. Why didn't the FBI raid your local library?

Oh please... give me a break! I'm sure if someone published a hand book on "How to Lynch Niggers" you would (with complete justification), go crazy and advocate the shutting down of the racist press. Free Speech is one thing... providing instruction on how to kill and maim people is quite another.

I believe you play hard and fast with the truth. To say that "nearly every library" carries information on bomb making is absurd. I can just as well say that "nearly every library" stocks pornographic literature. My statement does not make it true.

The FBI targeted the dumbells at "Raise the Fist" (RTF) because they self identified as "anarchist revolutionaries" who publically justified the use of violence in changing society. The idiot kid who runs RTF (Sherman), said that the bomb making instructions advocated "self defense." That's pure and simpe HORSE SHIT and you know it.

We are talking about our SOCIAL JUSTICE movement for PEACE and a BETTER WORLD. If the KKK or the Nazis publish such material... if Yahoo sells books that are 30 years old (Anarchist Cookbook)... WHO GIVES A DAMN?! It is no justification for our movement to do the same.
