LA IMC TV 9.11by LA IMC TV/Video Collective Tuesday, Sep. 10, 2002 at 5:43 PMThe LA IMC TV collective's second show, featuring the documentary short "9.11", will be on public access cable TV on Wednesday, September 11. It will be on AT&T channel 43 at 5:00pm. It will be on Adelphia Channel 77 at 6:30pm. LA IMC TV is proud to present the short film 9.11.
9.11 is a 28 minute film shot and edited entirely in New York City between September 11-27, 2001. The project was a joint production of the Independent Media Center (IMC), Big Noise Tactical, and Paper Tiger. If you want an antidote to the nauseating -- in turn maudlin and Goebbelsesque -- blanket covergae that corporate-produced TV will bombard you with on Wednesday...THIS IS IT! 9.11 provides a powerful rejoinder to the corporate media's disingenuous refusal to investigate whether the September 11th terrorist attacks were a by-product of U.S. foreign policy. 9.11 is also a beautiful document of how the people of New York coped with and processed the horrible devestation of the attacks.
