I just came back from the St. Regis and I want to give a heads up with regards to parking. Most of the street parking is temorarily unavailable and there is no way to get on the hotel property unless you are a guest. Give yourself plenty of time to deal with parking. The directions are correct but at that time of day both the exit and the streets given are packed and there are a lot of lights. An alternate route is to take the I-5 to
CA-1 North "Beach Cities" or "Pacific Coast Highway" follow PCH for about 3-4 miles and then turn Right on Niguel Road. The St. Regis will be on your Left. Another tip - Salt Creek Park is located next to the Ritz Carlon (located on the left side of PCH @ Ritz Carlton Road on the left or Niguel Road on the right), you can park there and take the pedestrial tunnel under PCH - follow any signs that lead you to the library.
