Tamara was the only Jewish women from the L. A. area to join this year's International Solidarity Movement's "Freedom Summer" in the occupied territory. Her heart wrenching first hand account of the violence and humiliation perpetrated upon the Palestinian people by the IDF is a story "LA Jews for a Just Peace" is dedicated to spread.

It was great to see that this event got such a response in the heart of L.A.'s jewish community. But does anybody know when or where Ms. Rettino will be speaking again? I was one of the several people turned away last Thursday because of the over-capacity crowd at the Circle. If anyone has info can you please post it on the IMC.
