Rob "Ruckus" Middaugh has been on the front lines against state sponsored terror! For years he has marched against and challenged government terrorists that have committed racially motivated attacks/ murders of innocent people on behalf of their families and organizations like October22 Coalition Against Police Brutality and the Criminalization of a Generation. He stood up in the face of the global organized crime syndicate pushing for capitalist globalization at D2K and other events.

As of January, 10, 2002, Rob "Ruckus" Middaugh has been transferred from L.A. County jail to the California state prison at Delano. The original "crime" leading to his incarceration: being pushed into a cop at the D2K demo!(according to witnesses present) This incident lead to his arrest for felony assault on an officer, which lead to his being placed on probation after being forced to plead "guilty" to a crime he did not commit by a (corrupt?incompetent?BOTH??) court-appointed "defense" attorney. When he was arrested during the TERRORIST ATTACK launched by the Long Beach cops at PEACEFUL May Day rally demonstrators just because they were Anarchists dressed in black; he was "convicted" of more charges of "assualting an officer" among others heaped on him by the racist and corrupt D.A. This lead to a "violation" of his probation and his current incarceration in state prison.

I can confirm that an incompetent defense attorney can totally screw you in a trial. I think a lot of people read that and think "oh that's just propaganda, he's in jail because he's GUILTY". In fact, often the state appoints completely pathetic "defense" attorneys, to well...defend the states' interest. It doesn't necessarily have to be an elaborate conspiracy, it can just be a lack of funding or just simple attorney apathy or enmity. Ruckus is truly an amazing individual who fought for justice and got screwed by the state. The facts say enough, but to have known him personally told even more.
