Welcome to the "Unwelcome Bush" protests held in Portland, OR this weekend!

Here's a limited audio set of what happened this Saturday. The audio is a little rough but its very listenable. Thanks to all the wonderful people I met and talked with - this was great. Its getting bigger and better all the time. I fudged the recording of Infernal Noise Brigade on MLK Blvd. but I got them at Parkrose. There's a bit of distortion from the wind but it doesn't last.

* Starts off with a lot of chanting. who's streets - our streets... who's police etc. Chanting on MLK. 7:00 linking arms.interview w/ a kid at 9:35. Cops moving people at 10:33. "Let us Through" 13:00 passing a message from the cops. 15:55 - talk w/ someone from eugene, or.

* Interview with the local residents - cops told them not to leave the house cus you couldn't come back. If things don't get better - we'll join the protestors.

* talk w/ someone who was at the Bush talk. They say he'll reopen Klamath water and help small business. A little hard to hear. stop fascism. interview w/ a couple who was also at the talk.

* Klamath water issues. pres left a while ago. clearing out the streets. Peaceful Protest. we're non violent how about you. talk w/ the girl who's hair got pulled. a horse is not a weapon. got a little tense and then it breaks up.
