Opinion Poll Proves Palestinians Support Intifada, Wish to Liberate the Land

The following poll suggests that a current "revolutionary situation" now exists in Palestine and that the Palestinian citizens intend not only to liberated Judea, Samaria and Gaza [West Bank and Gaza], but ultimately the whole land, from the river to the sea. The Palestine that we now have is not the whole Palestine.

    In response to American peace activists whom have recently made the false claim that Palestinians both do not support the Intifada and eschew violent attacks on Israel by the Palestinian National and Islamic Forces. And that Palestinians do not intend to reclaim Palestinian soil by means of the Intifada, Marxist-Leninist Newswire publishes the following results from a September 2001 poll conducted by the Jerusalem Media Communications Center, Jerusalem, Occupied Palestine.



    The following poll suggests that a current "revolutionary situation" now exists in Palestine and that the Palestinian citizens intend not only to liberated Judea, Samaria and Gaza [West Bank and Gaza], but ultimately the whole land, from the river to the sea. The Palestine that we now have is not the whole Palestine.







    • The percentage of those who support the Intifada rose to 85.3% up from 80.2% in April 2001





    • Support for the Oslo Agreements fell to 29.2% from 38.1% June 2001.





    • 41.9% of Palestinian Citizens in Palestine consider the peace process dead with no possibility of returning to negotiations up from 27.4% June 2001.





    • Those who believe the goal of the Intifada was to liberate Palestinian soil increaed to 48.6% up from 41.2% June 2001.





    • 53% of Palestinian citizens surveyed were optimistic that the Intifada will achive its goals.





    • Support for the two state solution dropped to 42.9% down from 47.2% June 2001.





    • Those who support armed violence 84.6% up from 70.6% June 2001





    • Support for Political Parties in Palestine are as follows:


    • Fateh 29.2% down from 34.9% june 2001


    • Hamas 20.7% up from 18.6% June 2001


    • Islamic Jihad 5.7%

    • PFLP 4.3%

    • DFLP 1.1%
