Raisethefist.com drops banner over West Hollywood, "CIA CREATED BIN LADEN ......

by rtf Tuesday, Oct. 02, 2001 at 10:20 AM

Raisethefist.com has dropped a wonderful banner over a freeway overpass in west Hollywood for all to see.

The banner which reads, "CIA CREATED BIN LADEN & TALIBAN. Blood on your hands USA" was dropped so conveniently, right next to an american flag put up by someone else a couple weeks ago.

The banner was dropped at aprox 4:35am Monday morning. Just in time for rush-hour traffic.

About 12 pictures from 4 different angles were taken moments after the banner was hung. The pics will be developed ASAP and then posted on LA IMC, and Raisethefist.com.

If you're in Los Angeles, you should defiantly get a picture of this before some conservative nationalist or some cop takes it down. The only shots taken of the banner so far are night-shots (with flash). Some day-shots would be nice.

If your coming from the valley, you'll want to go south on the 101 towards Los Angeles, then get off on vineland, make right, go up to Ventura, make a left, and keep going until you hit Cahuanga Blvd. (the cuhanga overpass), keep going up to Barham Blvd., then go up about another 300-400 ft until you pass the 2nd overpass. The banner is hanging facing the direction your driving so you'll want to look behind you, because it's facing oncoming traffic, make a U-turn if you have to. If you reach the Hollywood bowl you've gone too far.

If your coming from downtown Los Angeles, long beach . etc.. get to the 101 north and get on to the 101 Hollywood fwy, keep going just before you hit studio city.

We'll see how long this stay's up!!!

placed the American flag too?? Is it not patriotic to question one's Government and improve our nation.

Take back the flag folks, and educate those who don't realize the activities done in our name which soils Old Glory.

United States Government deserves no respect

This country was founded on the stolen land of indigenous peoples and the stolen labor of African slaves. The person who responded to this article with "Take Back The Flag" should know that the American flag was never ours to begin with! We are the masses of this country, completely disconnected from all true political and social processes that make the world go round. It shouldn't be this way, and furthermore, we shouldn't feel obligated to make the U.S. flag "ours". If anything, we should be anti-flag; we don't need a nation, we can govern ourselves if we all come together and break out of the capitalist superstructure. A single spark can start a prairie fire!!!

I see your point, but I have no absolutly interest in "taking back a flag" that brutality stole the rights of indigiounus people through cold blooded murder. The flag wasn't built on war, it was built on genocide. You can call it democrat for a while, you can call it republican for a while, but it has been the economic interests in this society since the day it was founded, wealth governs this country and always has, wealth governs this government and always has. And the people never controled this governments. Never. america has always been a plutocracy since the very day it was founded. It's never been a democracy. Never. It was founded on the interests of the RICH WHITE MALE. The have-nots who built their society on the backs of blacks. We've been servants since the day this society founded it's interests on this contintent, and we've been continuesly building their shit up. And now it's expanded globaly. It doesn't keep it's interests kept within it's own borders and economic bounderies, but it enforces it's interests upon the rest of the world through military violence..... This country has killed more people than all wars put together. And I mean this since the VERY DAY this country was established. Since the very day that flag was hung was the very last thing natives saw before they were killed. I have no interest in "taking back this flag". It never belonged to us, it never blonged to my ancestry. Never. And I don't want it to belong to me. Red is for the blood on it's hands, blue is for the male, and white, heh, we all know what that means. It's like asking jews to take back the nazi flag. They rather burn it. The "big freedom, and democracy" is symbolized through a flag, a flag with the blood stains of non-whites who've been opressed by it since day one, and we all know the colors of that flag, Red, White and Bullshit. Burn it.
