More than that!

by A. Saturday, Sep. 08, 2001 at 1:48 PM

There were more people in the IWW at the march - they were just standing ahead of the photographer! By the end, about 10 people marched with the IWW. The Wobbly table was also very popular at the picnic afterward - especially among the longshoremen.

Damn Wobblies!

Those damn Wobblies are getting to be everywhere I look!

Bless their red/black hearts.

Wilmington Labor Day

by Ernesto Nevarez Tuesday, Jan. 01, 2002 at 7:34 AM

This coming year, 2002, the labor day parade will be dominated by the truckers in the Teamster Port Division. Before approaching the IBT in 1994, LATA, the union born of the fusion of TUTA and WRTU, actually attempted to approach the Bay chapter of the IWW to discuss merging. It also considered the Korean Confederation of Industrial Unions, and even considered resurrecting the HGT, Hermandad General de Trabajadores. Just a little history.

Truckers will be there next year in solidary,

Ernesto Nevarez
