demonstrator being arrested for "JAYWALKING". Cops said that anyone who didn't give their name was going to be arrested. He didn't have his ID on him so he didn't give his name. He was put in the back of the police car for about 10 minutes then given a ticket and taken out of cuffs.

Free Rob!

ok sorry, hadta say that. But ya, I think the whole thing was kinda crazy with all the cops and stuff. Seriously what a waste of like 2 million bucks. Damn government. Ah well, I guess it's hot things work right, and we as activists take the risk. Anyways, I took some decent pictures and videos of the march and stuff, so if anyone wants me to send em a copy.. e-mail me your address.

(i left to come back to AZ today so I missed out on today and well, tomorrow..but there's still good stuff on the video).

You realize, of course, that there were soooo many police for this event because protest organizers claimed there would be 8-15 THOUSAND of you, right? And the organizers would not commit to being non-violent, right? You talked yourself into a huge police presence. Its your fault. Be an adult and admit it. The cops were easy going professionals and you know it. Your cause isn't hip enough for the college set, so just get over it.
