Hey Southern California Anti-fee Supporters!
KCOP channel 13 TV News (!!!!) will be shooting
footage of Free Our Forests' Fee Demo protest Saturday,
April 7th at Clear Creek Information Center located at the
junction of Angeles Forest and Angeles Crest highways
above La Canada. This will include interviews, shots of
protesters, picket signs, etc. The intention is to include
this subject in their 6:00 PM News along with news segments
to run periodically all day long! They've said the evening
segment will be at least 4 minutes (think about it)!
KCOP is a major LA TV news station, and this will provide us
with a rare opportunity to air our Adventure Pass / Fee Demo
issues to MILLIONS of people.
If you can attend and want to do something that will really
make a difference, please commit yourself to this activism.
MEDIA ATTENTION MAKES THE DIFFERENCE, and being on Channel
13 is perhaps the best opportunity
we've had thus far.....
Bring appropriate signs; any cardboard chunk with some
simple felt-tip pen writing is fine (no profanity or scat
humor please!). If you have no time to get up a sign, come
anyway! FOF Los Angeles Chapter will have a number
of extra signs to share around, and total turnout/attendance
is most important.
The event starts at 11:00 AM. KCOP is due to appear at
noon, and we want the demonstration in full swing by the
time they arrive. For more information on this very special
event, please call or email Bob Bartsch, Chairman, Free Our
Forests, Los Angeles. Also, if you intend to come,
please call or email Bob with your commitment. Let Bob
know you are planning to attend; a prior estimate of
attendance is important to us.
Thank you!

Keep your darn corporate cameras out of the forest! And pack your trash out too!!
Keep your darn corporate cameras out of the forest! And pack your trash out too!!
Dear vox,
the stance of free our forests is to dispute the recreation fee demostration program, which was created
by corperations to gain a foothold on the ability to build facilities on your public land. We have been able to
get a corporate TV station to cover us on this, thus the planned protest.Your comment is misguided in that we
are not a corporation and wish to defend the free use of public land. So give us a break. We are working to protect freedom. Go to www.freeourforests.org and discover the truth!!!!
