Pro Communists in US Protest Movement Hide Hatred for Tibetan Peoples!

by Dalai Lama Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001 at 8:01 PM

Many Leftists Groups are against indigenism and progressive nationalism. Some have no policy about Tibet or worse they callously and secretly support red genocide against This NATION that was rolled over by Mao's army men and army women. We know Leonard Peltier supports Tibetan Peoples yet the RCp continues to refer to the Dalai Lama as a slave master. Mumia heard on many issues has not written or spoken of this.

Visit freetibet.org today and read up on this world issue.

feudalism is a drag

by the burning man Thursday, Feb. 22, 2001 at 6:59 PM

You should read the RCP's essay on Tibet. It is provocative and to the point. Tibet was an feudal dicatatorship where the dalai lama presided like a godking. He was in active collaboration with British and later American imperialism. The lamas did no productive work, but like the Catholic monks in european history, lived off the exploitation of a massive peasantry.

There was a marked shift in Chinese policy towards Tibet from early in the revolution through the cultural revolution and then again after state capitalism was established as the dominant economic system beginning in 1976.

Slavery was only abolished when the Chinese invaded. That is a fact, not "RCP propaganda." It's nice to hold up the noble kingdom myth, but a free Tibet means more than getting out the Chinese. It means freeing the people for despotism of any kind. The campaign for a free Tibet often takes the form of demanding that the Tibetan aristocracy living in exile be allowed to return in force. Who wants that?
