"California Coalition for Immigration Reform" holding a rally in L.A. on Feb. 10 at the federal building in Westwood
I have just recently heard that the racist thugs at CCIR (California Coalition for Immigration Reform) will be holding a rally at the federal building in Westwood on February 10. CCIR supports the creation of more laws that target minorities and undocumented workers.
I am looking for more information about this rally.
I have also heard that people (anti-racist activists) are planning some sort of counter-rally against the CCIR. But I haven't seen anything posted on IMC about it.
Does anyone else know about this? Anyone have information on the counter-demonstration. Anyone going? I'm interested in possibly going to help counter the CCIR but I have been unable to find too much info yet.
If anyone knows more about this please post something on IMC ASAP!
thank you

Attn Freedom and Justice seekers:
As of now, the rally these cowboys have planned is not permitted, and it is questionable whether or not they'll try to hold the rally anyway.
We should, of course hold counter demontrations to this type of event, but this movement must not continue to confuse "non violence" with reactionary complaining; We should all focus on examining these groups and or participating (if you happen to be white) in them in order to usurp their most wicked efforts to reintroduce the renegade slave act of 1850 and similar legislature.
We need to stop reacting, people. We know who and where the opressor resides.
Take the initiative and conduct yourselves always as if you are being monitored - you are.
Power on.
