of the medals and scars that come from

a year of combat..I fought for your

right to be free...I filmed at Wounded

Knee...Custer...The June 12th Rally in

New York's Streets and Central Park..

and at the DNC this year with a crew

of 5 young videographers..your courage

for Peace and Freedom continues to

To Reverend Buddy,

Here you are, father. Here you are, brother. Here you are, son.

We wondered for so long where you could be. You who paid - along with the rest of our fathers and brothers and sons - the ultimate price for our so called "freedom". We wondered why you fought so hard overseas for the rights of strangers when we needed you here. We wondered why so many of our fathers and brothers and sons didn't return - and why so many gave up the fight for freedom when they did. We wondered how you could swear an oath to a flag and promise to uphold freedoms we've never had. We wondered how it was that you could be fooled to uphold the power and status of the slave owners.

But here you are, father, brother, son. You have not abandoned us. You served with courage and now, in lending your support, you continue to serve in the true name of freedom - for all your children.

Your sacrifice will never be forgotten because you still fight for freedom.
