Up from 25% last week, Nader now holds nearly 60% of the vote in an informal Time Magazine poll conducted through their website (http://www.time.com/time/campaign2000).
Last week, with half a million people polled, Nader earned 25% of the vote, Bush 55%, and Gore 16%.
As of this writing, with 1,040,226 respondents, the results are as follows:
Nader 58.68%
Bush 29.92%
Gore 9.18%
Buchanan 1.85%
Other 0.35%

If everyone bound to vote voted tomorrow, It is my humble observation that, numerically, Nader would CERTAINLY win this election....But the present fact is that George Bush and his corporate backing have already paid for, gotten the extended warranty on, and unwrapped the shiny toy that is the American presidency.
I'll vote for Nader to support my friends and family, and to say that I did. But participation in this system is ultimately futile if the desired end result is positive change: Its simply not possible in a house where the four pillars of foundation are SLAVERY, GENOCIDE, LIES and GREED.
Vote Nader, sure. Recycle, sure. Send mass e-mails, sure. And then get your ass out there with your pick-axe and take a blow at this condemned house.
We cannot turn back the clock. But we can build a new house when the old one is burned to the ground.
where are these statistics from? and how come ihave never seen anything close to this before?
Has anyone noticed that Time has since changed the poll - just moved the goalposts on everyone. So now the question is "which of the major candidates will you vote for: Bush or Gore?" Isn't democracy wonderful!!!
