Ironic that this photo illustrates the kind of helmets worn by not only our armed forces but also our police: fashioned after the kind of helmet that so effectively protected the 3rd reich during their reign of terror. What other borrowed Nazi innovations have we seen reflected in our own system of government, law enforcement and control? Lets run down the list:
Racist Apartheid? Yes. Economic as well.
Use of deadly force? Yes. Consistently.
Use of camps? Yes - prison. Our fastest growing industry.
Use of propaganda? Yes. Our media.
Totalitarian control? Yes. Try using your 1st ammendment.
Police state? Absolutely. Thank our right wing democrats for 1 million more police.
Surveillance? Yes. Refer to the photos of the "Black Hawk" intell helicopter seen not only at the DNC, but also at Seattle and probably Philly and DC. Also news stories blowing the cover off military involvement with police organizations in surveilling members of the anti-globalization movement. Congratulations, liberators, you're now not only a vegetarian with a puppet, you're world class terrorist.
Climate of fear? Yes. Or there would've been even more community activity in the streets this summer. How many times did you hear someone say they were afraid (not against!) of participating in the demonstrations.
White controlled leadership? Obviously - with the exception of the predictable minimum percentage of participation by history's timeless "house nigger". (Forgive my use of the word, but we can't pretend it never existed).
All things considered, i wonder if at the end of WWII the US didn't win so much as cut a deal to transfer power and technologies of fascism from Germany to America. Also, Germany now sits much higher on the global market than the US. Japan too.
Go figure.
