Lawyers, clergy, and well over three hundred people all report the same thing, and CNN dismisses them all by saying "Only a handful of medical evidence" of abuse, with "nothing more substantial than eyewitness accounts" to back up claims of abuse.
When they released pictures of Seller's and the other three people held on ,000,000+ bail, it had been three days and they *still* had obvious bruises and wounds that could be seen from a police photo showing only the head.
Then, CNN goes on to say that much of the "supposed" abuse was in fact the police acting properly to "uncooperative" protesters. Funny how uncooperative a dirty protester is when shackled hands-to-wrist and ordered to march down a hall.
They even steer the concerns back to the officers, who tell the shocking tales of protesters throwing cheese sandwiches back at their jailors (remember kids, if you're a vegan you're still a commie to these guys) and throwing urine from juice cups. (One "supposed" claim by the protesters is that the toilets were often clogged. After a day or two, where would you pee? In the 5'x6' cell with the seven other people, or in a cup you could then toss out the bars for the friendly janitor?)
Bloody hell, the ACLU has their fight cut out for them.
