In a tense negotiation, the leader of the Vieques march discusses whether it is safe for the demonstrators to go into the Staples Center area Thursday night. With him and the policeman is a mediator from the Department of Justice.

I guess "the valley' doesn't believe in free speech. for your information, the vieques rally and march had a permit and was completely peaceful. the only threats were from the overrepresentaed police.

We did not get any rubber bullets and the police were very cooperative. So.. we got what we deserve; our right to protest and march. No rubber bullets. Sorry to disappoint you!

See that is a "good" police fact: they are not all A$$ HOLES.

HOWEVER as long as they carry PISTOLS, SHOTGUNS AND MUSHROOMING BULLETS I will not respect them.
