The Gore staffer turned street protester who has been in most of the major marches and was detained by the police at one point, says the LAPD treats protesters differently than campain staff.
"When I was with the Gore camp, I jaywalked in plain view of the LAPD and they did nothing. Now that I'm a protester, I can go to jail for that," the former Gore switchboard operator said.
Just last night four people were detained by the cheese for jaywalking, which ranks as one of the least enforced laws in the city.
Since throwing in the towel after investigating the true nature of Al Gore on Monday, the former Gore-on says that the police have changed their tune.
"Once I put on that Uwa march teeshirt and took of my Gore ID, they police have done an about-face. Put simply, they suck when it comes to being objective," he added.
