LAPD's police radio is streamed to the web at
http://playlist.broadcast.com/makeplaylist.asp?id=5551 APBNews (
http://www.apbnews.com) also streams police radio, but their servers are busy. They do have a brief
list of some of the police codes used by the LAPD at
http://www.apbnews.com/scanner/codes/lapdcodes.html PoliceScanner.com also has a more extensive list of LAPD codes at
http://www.policescanner.com/lacodes.html Good luck to all of you... to all of us, too.
It's against federal and local law to give out frequencies or the content of communication on a web site like this, but there's no law on codes. They're few, and documented in all the books.
