CNN (and a number of other mainstream media websites) have opened chat rooms for discussing the LA conventions. It is a great opportunity to offer alternative opinions, and report the issues that CNN won't. Let CNN viewers know that the police are trying to prevent freedom of the press by harassing the Indymedia folks. Or just drop the web address! I think we need more outreach strategies at this point given mainstraeam coverage (or lack thereof)...

NBC NEWS DNC/LA anchor keeps saying "violent protesters were throwing bottles, concrete, and fence pipes at the police" but n word about LAPD forces provoking the whole damn incident. Talk about meritless news reporting....
