In anticipation of the November midterms, No Kings Rallies were held across the United States on October 17th , 2026.

The main focus for the protests was to to vote in the November elections and to vote early.

The importance of a very strong Democratic turnout cannot be overstated in the wake of the political destruction that has been rendered by the Presidency of Donald Trump and his sycophantic Senate and House membership which has been undermining and destroying the rights of the middle class and the poor of this country.

Los Angeles held it's own rally while protests were held all over the U.S. and the globe.

There were two messages that were present in these protests; a complete refutation of Trumps policies, and a drive to get out the anti-Trump vote early.

This Los Angeles protest was not as well attended as previous No Kings rallies. Hispanic people were far less in attendance than in previous No Kings events. Pro Palestinian folks were few in number. .

Meta suspended the No Kings Instagram organizing account for four hours which may have effected turnout. Meta representative Andy Stone posting on X gave the explanation that that there had been a bot attack raising the reading traffic to 4 times the normal reading behavior. Stone stated “ These abrupt high-volume, sequential requests in a short period resembled automated bot traffic rather thanan ordinary human browsing our systems. This activity caused our automated protections to incorrectly take the No Kings Instagram account offline.”

Also the Bass administration and the LAPD released a statement stating that these protests were unauthorized, which probably put a damper on attendance as well. Also given the fact that Los Angeles has been plagued by heatwaves also probably effected attendance.

Those that did show were fired up. They vehemently marched to state that they were done with the over the top corruption that Donald Trump and his cohorts have wrought upon the American Republic.

The photos of these protesters are personal while being public,with portraits, group shots and up close photos of Angelenos marching in the heat to save the American rule of law in our time. They are photos of those who have yet to become marginalized and stifled in this age of profound corruption.

An estimated 9 million people participated in the October 17th rallies world wide.
