Here we go again.
Los Angeles and America came out with more than 3,300 rallies in 50 states against the administration of Donald Trump. This is the third set of nonviolent protests coming out of the No Kings coalition which has been organized primarily by Indivisible, Move on and 50501.
There are other groups as well supporting the effort such as the ACLU, the American Federation of Teachers, the SEIU, Public Citizen, National Nurses United, the Human Rights Campaign, the League of Conservation Voters and United We Dream among others.
The rally in downtown Los Angeles started at 2 pm and went on for about 4 hours.
The turnout was absolutely huge across the country with 8 million people in attendance in all 50 states which is a one million person increase from the second No Kings rallies. The first protest had 5 million people nationwide and the second had seven million.
So citizens of the world take heart, we are actually approaching the grand 3.5 percent mark !
For more info on the 3.5 % theory …...

Also Rachel Maddow explains this quite well. She does an interview with Harvard professor Dr. Chenowith.

When we hit 11 million we will be an unstoppable force ( theoreticly ) !
There were also protests in Europe, South America and Australia.
The crowd in Los Angeles was absolutely enormous. The count is not in yet but there are estimates of tens of thousands or more Angelenos in attendance.
The energy was very high with a vast assortment of very pissed off folks who had a litany of complaints that focused on Ice, Iran, high gas prices, high food prices, the corruption of his administration and the ignoring of the U.S. Constitution.
There was also a great deal of good communal cheer where the smiles of comradery could be seen everywhere one looked into this crowd made up of tens of thousands of Southern Californians.
The Epstein files and Immigration abuse were top topics.
Trans topics and trans people were much more in evidence than in the previous two No Kings rallies.
Handicapped people were very present in this third march. The slashing of services was the cause.
The Peoples Park had about 30 tents offering services and organizational opportunities which seems to be a sure sign of greater attendance numbers in coming rallies.
Petitioners were everywhere.
A dressed down celebrity appeared here and there but the crowd was very working class from new workers to the retired.
Once again families and friends made up a large part of the crowd.
I saw one sign citing the H.R22 Safe Act.
It is entirely telling that there was not really any signage that railed against DOGE or Venezuela.
Trump's blitzkrieg of horrors can really only allow us to deal with the present issues.
Once again, Our large LA community of artists, actors and creatives showed their alarm and disgust in some super interesting ways.
Families came out. The handicapped and the elderly were there marching. Children and grandparents were loudly chanting anti-trump slogans.
As the march wound around DTLA the crowd stretched for a mile or so.
This protest was much angrier than the last ones.
It ended with arrests being made at the Downtown Detention Center where some people tried to tear down the fence surrounding the entrance.
But besides that, the protest was completely peaceful. Most people just went home and clogged up the train and the 101 and 5 freeways, as usual.
