Across the Atlantic, even with the White House playing 'terror card' at every opportunity, U.S. citizens are also beginning to reject the Chickenhawk's signature scare tactic. A Gallup poll after the London attacks had 56% of U.S. respondents correctly linking the USA-UK Invasion/Occupation of Iraq as the cause.

While the desperate NeoCons still are stubbornly using the 'terror card' at every turn, its once magical power to fool most of the people most of the time, is now steadily being seen as GOP fantasy.

I object to the inverted commas around the word "terrorists". Whatever you

think of the chain of events preceding the London bombings, including the

invasion of Iraq, the people who carried out the bombings were carrying out

acts of terror. They personally made the decision to kill innocent

civilians and moral judgement has to be based on that fact. There was

nothing inevitable in their choice. They could have chosen other, peaceful,

ways to express their justified anger at US and UK actions in the Middle

East.

Governments DO carry out terror upon the innocents as in Operation Gladio. In this case, it was ours.
