WRONG. This issue is not really open to debate because illegals are here illegally. But since you dared challenge me.

Illegals send most of what they make "home." They spread diseases we in the First World used to mostly have under control, they aid the drug cartels, they bankrupt our hospitals with their "free" medical care, they breed like lice and their el-no-speak-English brats clog up our already horrible guvmint skools. (They also roll their Rs which wastes time).

Illegals are a plague and a menace, just like the liberals who pretend to 'love' them.

Illegals are a major problem. They take more away from the system than they can ever put back into it. Now don't get me wrong, I am not racist, and all these people are free to come here; but do it through the legal process.

That is all I ask. Get documented so we know your not carring some ancient disease. REgistered so you pay income tax, so you are registered for selective service, so that you have all the responsibilities of a citizen of the U.S.

You see that is what really bothers me. People that think they should be able to have ALL the BENEFITS of U.S. citizenship without any of the burden on themselves. Freedom is not free, and that isn't just about war now. That is about all the responsibilities that they weasel out of by being illegal. Not just from Mexico, but from ANYWHERE.

I agree with you on many of your opinions. I am new to Los Angeles, and what I see is amazing. The illegals are here with the blessing of big and small business. I have seen illegals working in corporations (in the warehouses), and they are being paid very little, and ushered through the halls to the eating facilities. They are not trusted, because they are illegals, and they might steal. Also, they are forced to work whenever they are told to work, or they lose their jobs.

Some illegals complain that when they do work for some companies, they are paid as little as $50 for two weeks' work. Small and large companies are abusing illegals, something they cannot do to legalized citizens.

Also, I have been told by illegals that some businesses force them to join the union, and pay union dues, even though they cannot legally be representated by a union. This is another way to abuse them. Well, I guess that is the American way.

Yes, the hospitals are nearly bankrupt because many of the illegals (especially Mexicans), are having babies every ten months. Yes, we as Americans have to pay for those babies ... their housing, food, healthcare, and don't forget education. Look at all of these schools being built in Los Angeles, in the Latino neighborhoods. It is ridiculous.

Also, when you attend these community meetings, many of the participants cannot speak English, and they are illegals. They bring in their interpreters, and demand the services that they want.

We need good leadership in this country. All of our politicans are being bought by big business, and they are selling America down the drain for a few dollars.

Ok.. we'll pick up the "tab" for immigrants if the right-wing promises to pick up the tab for the Pentagon, the War in Iraq, the "War" on Terror, Prisons, Faith based Initiatives and on and on...
