I am new to Los Angeles, and what I see is amazing. The illegals are here with the blessing of big and small business. I have seen illegals working in corporations (in the warehouses), and they are being paid very little, and ushered through the halls to the eating facilities. They are not trusted, because they are illegals, and they might steal. Also, they are forced to work whenever they are told to work, or they lose their jobs.\r\n\r\nSome illegals complain that when they do work for some companies, they are paid as little as $50 for two weeks' work. Small and large companies are abusing illegals, something they cannot do to legalized citizens.\r\n\r\nAlso, I have been told by illegals that some businesses force them to join the union, and pay union dues, even though they cannot legally be representated by a union. This is another way to abuse them. Well, I guess that is the American way.\r\n\r\nYes, the hospitals are nearly bankrupt because many of the illegals (especially Mexicans), are having babies every ten months. Yes, we as Americans have to pay for those babies ... their housing, food, healthcare, and don't forget education. Look at all of these schools being built in Los Angeles, in the Latino neighborhoods. It is ridiculous. \r\n\r\nAlso, when you attend these community meetings, many of the participants cannot speak English, and they are illegals.
