LETTER TO PRESIDENT

by Hadj Maaradji Thursday, Jun. 10, 2004 at 5:49 PM

Letter to Mr. Bush asking questions, and demanding answers for all that isn't going right.

Dear Mr. President,

You have dragged our good name and this nation kicking and screaming through the shifting sands of Arabia, and for what, might I ask?

I'll tell you what it has gotten us, Mr. President, no cheap gas at the pump, no peace, no security; nothing but pain, grief, and shame.

Is that what we're fighting for in Iraq, and elsewhere?

To look like pariahs in the eyes of Iraqis and the world?

Flagrant torturers of human beings?

Shredders of international laws and treaties?

Mr. President, your administration has lied to us, and continuously frightened us to abdicate our civil and human rights for an ethereal security. You have divided the world into those "with us" and those "against us", and now it seems our "with us" camp is emptying fast, while those "against us" are gaining in numbers.

The situation we find ourselves in is untenable and is harming, not only our nation, but the very fabric of our world. We were showered with good will the world over after 9/11, and your administration skillfully squandered that to the four winds of arrogance, ignorance, lies and shame. How could you Mr. President?

I want my children and their peers to live in a world where America is viewed as a fair and law abiding nation amongst others in this world. I want my children and those all over the world to have a chance and the opportunity at a better life, a life devoid of violence and hunger.

Those are the things I expect my government to be spearheading, not drives to war, destruction, mayhem, and wasteful corrupt spending that burdens the future of my children. I expect my government to use lawful, and honest diplomacy in all its foreign affairs dealings. I expect my government to abide by international treaties we are signatory to. I expect my government to be a representative government to all its citizens, to respect and protect our rights. I want my government to acknowledge mistakes and correct course when necessary. When my government is not responsive to these needs, then, surely, it ought to be booted.

Can you deliver Mr. President?

Dear Mr. Maaradji,

by Office of W Thursday, Jun. 10, 2004 at 8:58 PM

Dear Mr. Maaradji,

I read your letter and here is my reply.

There are those think that all the evil in the world was driven out forever with the destruction of the Third Reich, and if we just appeased all the tyrants and chalked off their crimes against humanity as ‘misunderstandings,’ the world could live in peace and harmony.

If you study history, you will discover that appeasement has never worked. Only ferocious resistance and a policy of containment broke the back of an Evil Empire allowed to fester for 40 years after Hitler. Only the same ferociousness will defeat our present enemy.

All the “good will of the nations of the world” isn’t worth a bucket of warm spit if they’re not going to help us fight the very madness that made 9-11 possible. Fortunately, many nations voluntarily joined the coalition to begin ridding the world of islamofascism even as the usual third world savages in the UN---their own countries models of poverty, corruption and despair---howled against the USA.

Sir, what you are asking for an easy way out in a time of war. To hand it to you now, is to hand our enemies victory, thus emboldening them for the next round of cowardly terrorist attacks against not only us but other nations (i.e. Spain).

The collection of tyrants and evil clerics running the show in the Middle East will not surrender and not see reason. If you read any number of excellent essays at the time of 9-11, you would understand we’re in it for the long haul to defeat these bastards. We will be fighting them in some manner for the next 50 years, even if your children and grandchildren never pick up a rifle. It’s better we destroy them where they live then have to fight them here.

What good will a cowardly, wrongly-brokered, Clintonian “peace” with a bunch of animals do when your grown children are caught in the flash of a suitcase nuclear bomb set off in a major American city “in the name of Allah?” Is that a price you’re comfortable with?

America’s greatness has forever been denied by a growing internal cabal of socialists, communist (remnants) and naïve pacifists. While denying the obvious, these folks now run the American school system and a majority share of the media. Their motto is, “When you can’t deliver results, deliver propaganda,” in true Soviet fashion.

I thank Almighty God every day for the Internet and talk radio, which broke their monopoly stranglehold on information like a stick of chalk.

If you can’t find it in your heart to vote with me, then to vote against me choose Ralph Nader, since John Kerry also believes in the war, despite being French.

Sincerely,

“W.”

GOD BLESS TEXAS.

GOD BLESS THE USA.

My name is Josiah Hagen.

I get paid by the US government to disrupt this site.

Too bad I'm not any good at it.
