A Well Deserved Beating

by Sons of the Sunshine State Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003 at 5:37 PM

FTAA in Miami

Addressed to only anarchists, and not law abiding protestors:

A WELL-DESERVED BEATING

Many come to Miami on vacation

For nothing more than our sunny location

But you came to our Magic City to cause unrest,

And didn't expect to see so many in armored vests.

You came armed with your marbles and wrist rockets

Hoping we'd keep our hands in our pockets.

While you carried on, wearing a black hood,

Patient and unmoved our troops stood.

So you thought you'd fight, rob, be a vandal

Thinking Miami's Finest would cause the scandal.

But you crossed some serious legal bounds

And then felt the force of our non-lethal rounds.

You must’ve thought you were slick to throw some stones

Not thinking with our sticks we’d break your bones

Oh how, unfortunately, quick the time passed

As we all watched while you got tear-gassed

With paint and violence you did attack,

Too bad for you pepper spray was shot back.

You tried to start fires, throw smoke bombs, and then run

It was quite funny when you got shot with a stun gun

Amusing it was to observe from home

While on our city streets you did roam

So to conclude, this isn’t just meant to mock,

But a reminder to stay off Our Block.

Based on FTAA demonstrations held in Miami on Thursday, November 20, 2003

How about a little thinking?

by Savage Henry Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003 at 8:22 PM

What makes police violence any different? Both groups are using violence, only the police violence is considered legal. If they were anarchist police would it then be OK?

"What makes police violence any different?"

by Max Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003 at 10:31 PM

I've never personally been the recipient of a beating from the police, nor have I personally ever seen anyone getting beaten that hadn't broken the law.

Moral of the story:

Don't break the law and you probably won't get beaten.

Probably bush-asskisser or some other troll or surveillence

spook with another moniker.

to the sunshine boys and their weak-ass poetry

(with no disrespect to my queer homies)

your city's pigs cut us low

we must confess

but in your mouth

our dicks will rest.

Solidarity to the FTAA protester and unions who succeeded

in forcing the meeting to end a day earlier with

a watered down agreements.

Piss off to the pigs and neo-con shitheads who

helped bush steal the election to begin with.
