Maybe we should work with the cops, try to find some common ground.

The cops and people in general really hate inconvenient, uncomfortable pro's that might mess up our traffic or disrupt communities.

Maybe we can get the cops to join us in action against really ugly people. The DNC supports us in our fight to kill off some freaks, why not the cops as well.

We could bond over developing genocide techniques and end up with safer, more secure, and more environmentally attractive communities.

Just a thought.

I suggest that health conscious citizens, with the cooperation of the LAPD, orchestrate multiple freeway onramp lockdowns, in order to stop the environmentally insane L.A. car culture. This would immediately contribute to the restabilization of the planet earth's climate, and be beneficial to citizens dying from smog related illnesses in the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area. Certainly the "earth in the balance" democrats would be cooperative, themselves being interested in continuing to be alive. I think that this could be an exciting, fun community project. If interested, call Climate Action Now! at 310-396-3254, and we'll schedule an initial meeting in September, after we get an idea of how many are interested in being on the organizing committee. Peaceout.

The organizers of the events TRIED to work with the cops. Guess what, it didn't work. Despite the efforts to accomodate the cops, such as agreeing to shut down the show when things became rowdy after the "Human Needs not Corporate Greed" march, the cops still went ballistic. In this particular case, the cops tear gassed, pepper sprayed, and shot rubber bullets at peaceful demonstrators, event organizers, journalist, and, even, children. Yes, children!
