Labor Day has been all but totally depoliticized in America. If you're looking for something to balance out the apolitical BBQs associated with Labor Day, check out the IMC LA Calendar. You can check out the HEAL Gathering (anti BBQ!), the big Labor Day March in Wilmington (support the workers in the Harbor), and the ongoing Assi Super strike/boycott has asked people to help them picket on Labor Day.
