Hitler was appointed Chancellor of Germany by the President of the Weimar Republic Paul von Hindenburg on 30 January 1933.
(The United States created the predecessor to the cia in 1942 under the name Office of Strategic Services, OSS which was modeled after the Nazi’s Schutzstaffel,i.e.,SS, and in 1947 the name was changed to the Central Intelligence Agency, i.e., ‘cia’);
The Nazi Party… began to eliminate all political opposition and consolidate its power. Hitler became dictator of Germany by merging the powers and offices of the Chancellery and Presidency.
(After WWII the USA presidents were seen as useful tools for the intelligence services).
A national referendum held 19 August 1934 confirmed Hitler as sole Führer(leader) of Germany.
(No referendum was needed in the USA to provide sweeping powers to the cia and the fbi) .
All power was centralised in Hitler's hands, and his word became above all laws.
(All real power was and is today centralized in the USA’s fbi/cia and the SCOTUS complies with all mandates issued in the name of national security; thus the evisceration of the US constitution at the direction of USA’s intelligence services was well underway).
The government was not a coordinated, co-operating body, but a collection of factions struggling for power and Hitler's favour.
(The USA government is similarly not made up of three distinct and coordinating branches because the fbi/cia secretly dictate all important national interests as they see them; the last vestige of a constitutional government was removed in 1963 with the assassination of President John F. Kennedy and with subsequent political assassinations. *Since then constitutional law- which traditionally was designed to protect against ‘police state’ abuses- has been whittled away by the justices on the highest court and by the fbi/cia.
