WorkWeek looks at the opening day protests in the Los Angeles Unified School District LAUSD at the Hobart Elementary School over the removal and retaliation against star teacher Raif Esquith, the co-location of a charter in the Stoner Elementary school that steals rooms from the public school and a protest against the Eli Broadway foundation offices for pushing privatization and charters. These actions took place on August 17, 2015.

The Broad Foundation has been engaged in privatization and pushing corrupt officials like Broad graduate and trainer John Deasy.

Under proposition 39 pushed by privatizers, charter schools can grab class rooms in public schools including orchestra and special ed rooms such as at the Stoner Elementary School in LA

Eli Broad and other so called "non profits" are pushing for privatization of education through charters and testing for profits.

Corrupt John Deasy who was "trained" by the Eli Broad Foundation was involved in corruption at LAUSD in Apple and Pearson contracts. The DA and State Attorney General refuse to prosecute corruption and theft of public resources by Deasy and Apple and Pearson. After being forced to resign he has been hired by Eli Broad to train other crooks on how to privatize education
