Grand Opening Bank of Books in Malibu

November 2nd - 11th, Bank of Books Malibu, the newest bookstore in Southern California, celebrates its Grand Opening. Bank of Books has been voted Number 1 Independent Bookstore of Ventura County for the last nine years, and now we have come to LA County.

Mr. Clarey Rudd, owner of the Bank of Books stores, and also Abednego Book Shoppe and Books for Cooks, is so pleased with the new location. "I believe this bookstore, is one of the top in the world with the best spacious view of the hills and sunsets, located just above Zuma beach, in the Pt. Dume Village.”

The bookstore was designed to be one of the most unique bookstores in the country. We think that has been accomplished. With a wide selection from bargain books, best sellers to rare. Our museum department includes 1613 "She Bible", Faust 1877, Shakespeare’s Works 2 volume set 1870, and signed copies of Harry Potter books just to name a few.

The store is supported by our warehouse of over 2 million books. We have now shipped to over 90 countries. Some of the best written books are out of print, we are able to supply so many of those requested.

In this modern day, we now have any e-book on our web site, so please support Independent Bookstores, like Bank of Books.

Ribbon cutting ceremony, book signings, musicians, and artists will make these 10 days a real celebration. Fridays, the 2nd and 9th, will be Children's days featuring Children’s Author's and activities. Sunday will feature LA Times author's signings, Monday is food court day and Malibu High Celebration, Tuesday Women's Day, Wednesday Malibu Times Day, Thursday Surfside Day, and Saturday the 10th will be a day celebrating the Hobbit.

We just finished launching our new website, which is on the cutting edge of e-book selection, www.bankofbooks.com. Our Facebook and email activity continues to grow, as we see a great increase of new customers.

For more information visit our website or find us on facebook at facebook.com/bankofbooks.
