The top 1% who used to take 10% of national income in 1979 have 23%. The economy has grown more slowly. Collective capital brought about infrastructure and scientific discoveries. People from age 3 have one story shouted at them all the time. Countries should grow in their own interest.

1. There is no such thing as a free market

2. Companies should not be run in the interest of their owners.

http://therealnews.com/t2/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=31&Itemid=74&jumival=6504

3. Most people in rich countries are paid more than they should be.

4. We do not live in a post-industrial age.

http://therealnews.com/t2/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=31&Itemid=74&jumival=6507

5. US does not have the highest living standard.

http://therealnews.com/t2/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=31&Itemid=74&jumival=6598

6. Making the rich richer doesn't make the rest of us richer.

http://therealnews.com/t2/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=31&Itemid=74&jumival=6599

7. Despite the fall of communism, we are in fact living in planned economies.

http://therealnews.com/t2/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=31&Itemid=74&jumival=6600

8. Financial markets need to become less efficient, not more.
