US ranking in life expectancy has gone from 5th in 1950 to 49th today, thanks to the expensive and for millions, unaffordable, private insurance racket proudly promoted by the Democrat-Republicans instead of the socialized medicine that exists in the rest of the industrialized world, and now at 49th, we are also behind many non-industrialized countries. That is why you should vote Peace & Freedom or Green, the two parties that support socialized medicine and oppose insurance companies.
This story was publicized on Democracy Now on October 29, 2010 at http://www.democracynow.org/2010/10/29/headlines
and was based on a report in Health Affairs of October 7, 2010 at: http://content.healthaffairs.org/cgi/content/long/hlthaff.2010.0073v1
In 1999, the US ranked 24th, so the decline is now snowballing to the bottom. See University of Maine’s Bureau of Labor Education Report, Summer 2001 at http://dll.umaine.edu/ble/U.S.%20HCweb.pdf

The only two parties worth considering are:
Peace and Freedom Party at http://peaceandfreedom.org/2010/
Green Party at http://www.cagreens.org
To vote Peace & Freedom or Green is to vote for peace, labor, civil rights, gay marriage, socialized medicine, free abortion on demand with no restrictions, for abolition of the death penalty, for the Palestinian liberation struggle, for free public school education for all from pre-school through university, for amnesty for undocumented immigrants and for the environment.
You cannot expect to have progress if you keep voting for the twin parties of war and fascism, the Democrat-Republicans. The Democratic candidate for governor, Jerry Brown, not only opposes Prop 19 legalizing marijuana, supports a peripheral canal to drain Northern California of our water, and supports continued attacks on the workingclass in the form of budget cuts, he also supported a charter military school while mayor of Oakland (1999-2007). Charter schools are by definition anti-labor and do not solve the problems of education in the workingclass schools. Military and education are antithetical and the same is true for military and culture. Only with peace can we have culture and a well-rounded education. He also was mayor of Oakland (1999-2007) when he sent the Oakland police against the peace demonstrators at the Oakland docks who shot the peaceniks with wooden and rubber bullets on April 7, 2003.

He is just as reactionary as the Republican candidate for governor and fellow millionaire, Meg Whitman. NO MILLIONAIRE CAN REPRESENT THE WORKINGCLASS, the 80% of us who sell our labor for less than $77,000 a year.
VOTE PEACE & FREEDOM OR GREEN FOR ALL OFFICES AT EVERY LEVEL.
