Indymedia, Thank You!

A note thanking visitors to indymedia sites that have taken the time to view WHY KERALA, GRAMPA? 87minutes

Indymedia, Thank You!

Visitors to Indymedia sites: Thank You! for your support of WHY KERALA, GRAMPA? Non corporate movies that challenge globalization and predatory capitalism have a rough road to getting seen. During the last three months since posting WHY KERALA, GRAMPA? at tchamberlinmovies.com and posting numerous announcements on Indymedia there has been heartening feedback from viewers who have taken the time to view the movie and sent e-mails expressing their enthusiasm for the project. One viewer wrote “It was fascinating to see real democracy at work. Every American of voting age should watch your beautiful and thought provoking movie. PBS should play WHY KERALA, GRAMPA? regularly!”

Public Broadcasting, Bill Moyers Journal and several other fine PBS productions not withstanding, is guardian of the status quo, supported and funded by Monsanto, Exxon, insurance and financel services industries and the rest of corporate America that has no interest

in encouraging bottoms up activist democracy. But that is another story. Thank you for your support of WHY KERALA, GRAMPA? and check out LA VUELTA, A Journey Back, about what one young man leaves behind in the mountains of Guerrero Mexico when he makes the perilous 2000 mile trip to the United States to pick the fruit and vegetables that fill our dinner tables. Peace tom chamberlin
