The Al Habtoor Group has three works that have become icons of the architecture of the city of Dubai, capital of the emirate - the international airport, the most modern in the world, and the hotels Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah, two of the most modern buildings in the city. With branches throughout the Arab world, the Al Habtoor Group employs 750 thousand people and operates mainly in real estate, hotels and insurance.

The chairman of the group, Kalaf Al Habtoor, received the entourage of the governor and 20 Arab businessmen for lunch. At lunch, Requiao presented Parana state and the importance of the state inside Brazilian economy, with growth of industrial and agricultural sectors. The governor also gave a brief account of Parana and economic situation of the country and at the end of the meeting, Requiao invited the president and chairman of Al Habtoor for a visit to Paraná.

"I was very impressed with the performance of the construction industry in Dubai. The city experienced an extraordinary development. Also impressed me the architecture of new buildings, modern, bold and daring. Dubai, after China, today concentrates the largest number of skyscrapers under construction worldwide. Another thing that caught my attention was the number of foreign workers working in the city, "said the governor Requiao.
