A backhoe destroyed this plot at about 2:00 on the south east corner of the farm, leaving a splintered pile of wood that was once a shade structure, rows of crushed corn stalks, and this sign.

Jim Lafferty, from the National Lawyers Guild was at the press conference. He and many other volunteers from the NLG were at the Farm all day to monitor the safety and legal rights of the protesters.

Dan Stormer, a pro bono attorney representing the Farmers, said there were over 40 arrests this morning. He also said that the case of the Farmers against the city for selling the land back to the developer will go to trial in July.
