Republican Congressman Tom Tancredo Keynotes November 21 Event for “Minuteman” Founder Jim Gilchrist

Rep. Tom Tancredo
November 14, 2005

Lake Forest, CA - The Chairman of the Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus, Representative Tom Tancredo, R-Colorado, will spend the full day Monday, November 21st, in Orange County, California, campaigning in support of Minuteman Project founder Jim Gilchrist. Gilchrist is running for Congress in California's 48th District in the special run-off election to be held on Tuesday, December 6.

Congressman Tancredo, the acknowledged leader in the United States Congress on the issues of immigration reform and border security, will be the keynote speaker at a $250 a plate fundraising luncheon on behalf of Gilchrist for Congress to be held November 21st, from 12:00 Noon to 1:30 P.M., at the Balboa Bay Club, 1221 West Coast Highway, in Newport Beach. Those interested in attending this event must reserve tickets in advance and are encouraged to act immediately! Seating is limited and this event is rapidly selling out! Following the luncheon, Rep. Tancredo will be a featured speaker at the Gilchrist for Congress "Patriot Rally," scheduled to take place between 3:00 P.M. and 5:30 P.M. at the Irvine Hyatt Hotel, located at 17900 Jamboree Rd., in Irvine. Admission to the rally is a Gilchrist Campaign contribution of $45 per person.

After the rally, Congressman Tancredo will then be the guest of honor from 4:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. at a $100 per person private cocktail reception, to be held in the "Saddleback Terrace Room" at the Irvine Hyatt. RSVP is required for this event.

A very special guest and speaker at all of the day's events -- luncheon, rally, and cocktail reception -- will be Chris Simcox, founder and director of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps.

For further information regarding these events featuring Congressman Tom Tancredo, Jim Gilchrist, and Chris Simcox, call 949-588-8683.

Please RSVP to 949-588-8683 (ask for Nathan), or e-mail nathan@jimgilchrist.com
