The
election has had a powerful effect.
Many of us have become depressed and demoralized. Some of us feel extraordinary outrage or
isolation. But maybe you woke up to
the realization that there has never been a better time to organize then now.
If so, then we invite you to join this inclusive
community forum. Julie Levine of
the Topanga
Peace Alliance and Bill Gallegos from People of Color Against Globalization will be co-facilitating the
event. Other individuals and groups
participating include Jodie Evans,
Code Pink; Arlette Parker, Mothers For An Aware America; Jim Lafferty, ANSWER
Coalition; Frank Dorrell, Publisher of Addicted To War; Clarissa Romano, Office
of the Americas; Chuck
Nixon, Veterans For Peace; Arlene
Inouye, Coalition Against Militarism In Our Schools (CAMS); Kevin McCowen,
Green
Party and Santa Monica City Council;
Anthony Hall, Topanga Town Council; Dwight Stone, Palisadians
For Peace; David Gottlieb, Topanga
