Uncivilizing: Physically, Mentally, and Spiritually

Presented by the Green Anarchy Collective

http://www.greenanarchy.org

For more information contact: 949-481-5478

1.) Feral Visions at Cherrywood Clubhouse in Huntington Beach

2.) Green Anarchy Distro at A-Cafe in Tustin

3.) Feral Visions at the The Regenerative Co-op of Pomona

--------------------------------------------

1.) FREE EVENT THIS FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 12 AT 7PM!

Cherrywood Village Clubhouse in Huntington Beach CA.

Do you consider yourself a person striving to create peace? Wanting to bring down all that is causing mass misery and alienation? How do we rid ourselves of this emptiness in our efforts to teach peace? Come discover FERAL VISIONS!

Come gather Friday evening for a free film screening of “Surplus: Terrorized into being Consumers”, followed with a presentation by the Green Anarchy Collective of Eugene, Oregon. The presentation will lead into the origins of civilization, patriarchy, and domination, concluding with an interactive discussion on creating healthier ways of connection within ourselves, those we care about, and the rest of life.

Surplus: Terrorized into being consumers

Directed and produced by Erik Gandini

Why is the lifestyle of consumerism a source of such rage today? How come the privilege of buying goods does not automatically lead to happiness? Why all this emptiness despite our wealth?

FREE FOOD AND REFRESHMENTS WILL BE PROVIDED!

Distribution of reading material, film, and journal will be available, all proceeds go to benefit the Green Anarchy Journal!

Directions:

From the 405 FWY:

Take Beach Blvd South towards the beach and turn left on Ellis.

Take the second right on Chapel and drive to the end of the street where you will see the Cherrywood Village Clubhouse parking lot.

There will be signs telling you where the room is located. Parking is available all along Chapel.

From Pacific Coast Highway:

Take Beach Blvd North approximately 3 miles and take a right on Ellis. Take the second right on Chapel and follow directions above.

To assist in promotion, food preparation, or set-up, also to put forth suggestions, comments or questions email: EarthDefense (at) Hush.com or reviveparis68 (at) riseup.net

------------------------------------

2.) Green Anarchy Collective Present at the A-Cafe

Anarchist Cafe - Saturday, November 13th - 2:00 pm - Peppertree Park, Tustin

Come for a day at A-Cafe!

An event for fun and for free!

The epitome of innocence!

FOOD!

Free food and drinks will be provided, but everyone is encouraged to bring something to share as well!

FUN & GAMES!

FEATURED GAME: CARDBOARD WAR!

Cardboard war consists of two teams, each team gets a pile of cardboard and some duct tape. With those items, and those items alone, each team must construct their own weapons and armor in a given amount of time. When time is up each team goes to war!

We are also working on getting a bounce house but we have to deal with city permits so it's up in the air (but maybe if more people were helping with this event we would have it.. hint hint).

Other possible games will include but are not limited to:

- capture the flag

- water balloon fights

- soccer

- kick ball

- redrover

- dodge ball

Games are subject to overall consensus and participation

ART!

Come paint with your fellow radical artists! Bring your art supplies!

There will be a provided art space.

Bring your voices and your instruments for acoustic music and subversive sing-a-longs!

THE OTHER STUFF

We also hope to have free radical reading material, craft corner, and a trade circle
