Press Release

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Kapeesh.org announces the debut of a new DVD magazine and streaming website featuring politically-minded, independent filmmakers, musicians and video artists. As media producers and “artivists” the Kapeesh group will continue on with a new compilation release every three months while expanding its library of CD and DVD titles for purchase at their on-line store.

“When the Cannes Film Festival’s Palm D’Or award went to Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 911 this year, a whole group of independent digital filmmakers were told that politics was now fair game for their art. We’re here to give those filmmakers a voice.”

-Kapeesh Producer, Chris Cronin

Kapeesh is distributing thousands of their initial DVD units throughout the United States. The public can also purchase copies directly from the kapeesh.org website. Distribution partners include Remote Media in New York, Select Media in Chicago, and local retail support thoughout Los Angeles. The media library at Kapeesh will continue to expand well beyond November as the spotlight moves from politics to globally conscious issues and independent films/documentaries.

“Our goal is simple; pick quality products that inform and entertain. That’s Kapeesh.”

– Heidi Hough, Co-Producer.
