the march for justice begins at noon, friday, 2 jan, at the scene of the crime, century blvd & freeman, in inglewood (see mapquest.com for directions), then proceeds to the inglewood office of the district atty, inside the inglewood municipal bldg, at labrea & regent.

the re-trial of terrorist cop, jeremy morse, begins monday, 5 jan, at the inglewood airport courthouse. (he was also arrested for arrogantly drunk driving over thanksgiving in el segundo.)

the first trial was a farce, ending in a hung jury, due to the fraudulent prosecution by corrupt d.a. steve cooley (a former cop & a republican due for re-election). only due to community pressure is there a new trial.

few people are aware of the new trial, w/ the recall, iraq, forest fires,,, in the headlines. but it is critical that people be made aware, as community pressure is the only way to bring justice for donovan. this is the point of the march-- to bring awareness. please spread the word and make every effort to attend.

Police brutality on trial in inglewood california.

Jeremy Morse who was videotaped beating a defenseless, handcuffed, mentally disabled, 16 year old child over his fathers unregistered tags is due back in court. Jury selection for this case begins jan. 5th 2004. Jeremy Morse was found basically guilty 7 to 5 in an all white neighborhood courthouse. The trial has been moved to inglewood where the crime was actually committed. Inglewood is 45% black & 45% latino.

Jeremy Morse learned nothing from his time in the spotlight. He was arrested for drunk driving over the thanksgiving holiday. Police reports say that he was possibly under the influence of drugs. He is due back in court for that charge jan. 20 2004. He has no legal defense for that case.

The videographer of the beating mitchell crooks was arrested for a five year old warrant for a dui & petty theft one week after because he refused to cooperate with the corrupt los angeles DA steve cooley. This is the focal point case against police brutality. With nationwide an worldwide coverage. LADA Steve Cooley has alot of hatred towards him over the intimidation of witnesses in this case. Cooley was attacked by the LA city coucil for arresting mitchell crooks and giving "LA a pretty bad name". Several key politicians have come to the aid of the videographer. Ralph Nader, Al Sharpton, Dennis Kucinich, Maxine Waters, Howard Dean, Jesse Jackson, Medea Benjamin, Peter Camejo, LA mayor jim Hahn, city council members antonio villagrosa, eric garcetti and former LAPD cheif bernard parks. Several celebrities as well, keifer sutherland, Ice cube, martin sheen, several famous dj's , eminem and ludacris. As well as several community activists, najee ali, minister farakahn, minister tony of nation of islam, dick gregory, dr. earl ofari hutchinson, Ron Kovic, Tom Hayden to name a few. Mitchell has used this time in the spotlight to improve his life and take on the issue of police brutality with these people's support. He has changed his life around unlike the brutal cop jeremy morse who also beat up several people before mitchell was brave enough to catch him in the act again, putting one guy in a coma for a week, another woman was beat while 6 months pregnant.

Steve Cooley is trying this case that many have compared to the rodney king case. Here are a couple of the issues Steve Cooley has blown intentionally. DA's work with police and refuse to ever convict them of crimes no matter how bad they are.

Downey police murdered Gonzalo Martinez, the 26 year old son of Argentinean immigrants in February 2002. His death, also captured on videotape, which was caught on police dashboard cameras (never released to public)as well as an amateur videographer who has since been paid off by cooley (or someone) to vanish off the face of the earth. Thereby killing the public outrage over the videotaped killing by M5 machine guns over a DUI stop.This has many parallels to the case of Donovan Jackson. Cooley declined to file charges against the officers in Gonzalo's death in spite of video evidence showing police executed Gonzalo in cold-blood.

22 year old Javier Quezada, Jr. was shot to death by a Pasadena police

officer in front of his mother and father on January 23, 2003. He had a pair of scissors in his hand. The officer asked no questions and just fired at Quezada in front of his parents. And then, Steve Cooley and his investigators never even spoke to Javiers folks before the district attorney announced that no charges would be filed against the brutal cop who killed their son.

Steve cooley also closed the books on 9,000 or more cases involving the famous LAPD rampart investigation of cops that set up people to control the drug ring, Tupac's and biggie smalls murder.

The recent killing of a black man by "out of control rogue cops" in Cincinnati has brought the worlds eyes closer to the issue of corrupt organized gangland violence and terror going on by american law enforcement. Many are questioning if the police in america are the true terrorists? The cops themselves must follow the LAW. Under john ashcroft, and the bush administrations attack on civil rights, Anti war movements/protests and those that dare use their right to dissent, citizens have been killed, beaten, harassed and attacked. Police are NOT JUDGE, JURY & EXECUTIONERS. Sometimes it is necessary to "subdue" a subject but, not to jab him several times in his heart with the point of your baton ect. ect. ect. ect. ect. ect. ect. ect. ect. ect. ect. ect.

Some Chickenhawks like to argue in favor of police brutality by condemning the videographer of the donovan jackson case. They point out lies and hatred towards the good deed he has done for humanity. So to those who stalk mitchell and think that pointing out his wrongdoings will take away from the issue of police brutality, It won't.
